Globalscope advised on sale of Dublin-based System Dynamics to Deloitte
Globalscope advised the Dublin-based leading technology consulting firm System Dynamics on its sale to Deloitte which was formally ratified by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in August, and brings Deloitte’s consulting and advisory team to more than 1,000 in Ireland.
Globalscope member Cobalt together with CatCap acted as exclusive financial advisor to System Dynamics working with the team to identify and contact potential buyers worldwide and negotiate a transaction through to completion.
Paddy MccGwire, Cobalt’s Managing Partner, said "We worked with the shareholders to find an acquirer that would enable the company to continue to meet its growth strategy, and enable the founder CEO to exit the company. Deloitte is a great fit."
Tony McGuire, said "Cobalt understood our business very well and worked hard to find an excellent fit for us. Ever patient with us, they drove the process at a pace that suited all our needs. In particular, they were very supportive of us and our requirements when it was needed most during a very intensive and difficult process which achieved an excellent result."
